Applications to teach Professional Writing 2019-2020 are open

The Professional Writing Program is accepting applications for teaching Business Writing (ENGL 420) and Technical Writing (ENGL 421) in Fall 2019. We are looking for instructors from a variety of backgrounds to bring their perspectives and expertise to Professional Writing at Purdue. You don’t have to be a student in rhetoric/composition to teach in the program! Applications from all students are welcome.

Please join us for an information session where you can talk to peers currently teaching PW classes, and ask questions related to the application process and curriculum.

  • Information Session: Thursday, February 7 from 4pm-5pm in HEAV 320
  • Information Session: Monday, February 11 from 5pm-6pm in HEAV 320 (just before the prospective grad student recruitment event at LBC, so we’ll carpool over there afterward!)
  • Drop-in Application Workshop: Wednesday, February 20 from 9am-noon in HEAV G42
  • Drop-in Application Workshop: Tuesday, February 26 from noon-2 in HEAV G42
